Lately
Can’t believe it has been a month since my last post…well actually I can because we have been super busy! Sean started his new job on Feb. 17th and let me just tell you it is everything he wanted and so much more! He is absolutely loving it and I am loving that he is actually in a job he loves. His company even moved him to a different position after they saw how much he knew about computers during training. This is a great company and I am so happy Sean has a great job. We even found out yesterday that we are able to go on a vacation this year! Sean’s company has a few different condos that employees can stay in for only $100 a week! So we put in for the condo in Hilton Head, SC and found out yesterday that we got approved for it. So we are going September 17-23. I am so looking forward to it since we haven’t had a vacation in a while.
The one thing I am most looking forward to with Sean having a good job now is finally getting out of debt! I know it is going to take some time but now we can start working towards it again. Today, we finalized the refinance of our car loan which is going to cut our car payment almost in half! That is going to help us out tremendously so we can start paying off more! God is so good, he really does bless his children.
In Caleb news, we have been getting back into his therapy routine. This past week threw him off because we had guests stay with us for 3 days, his developmental therapist was on vacation and we are switching to a different speech therapist. Therefore, he went a week without any therapies. This week though we are full steam ahead. He started a group therapy on Monday at the preschool he is going to attend. Tuesdays will be his speech therapy days and Thursday is his developmental therapy. I am so looking forward to all the changes we are going to see in him and to actually hear him talk in English!! I dream about the day he actually calls me “mama” and his dad “dada” and know that is what we are called. I’m excited for him to start at this new preschool as well. It is going to be beneficial for him in so many ways! Also in Caleb news, he LOVES his new babysitter! We needed to find someone to watch Caleb for 2 hours a day monday through friday and we found an amazing woman! She has 3 boys which is great for Caleb and he feels so comfortable over at her house. God really led us to just the right person for him and I am so thankful for that because ever since we found out Sean got this job I began to worry about where we would put Caleb. But God had it all worked out.
Well that is about all for now. Nothing deep or meaningful this entry. I do have some things brewing that I will blog about soon!
